ok, my name is Nick, which come for the ancient name Nikolaos
In Greece, Nick is called as Nikos which comes from Nikolaos I have never done any extensive research as to the meaning of the name, but I was once told by a drunk old man who seemed wise enough, that my name comes from the Ancient Greek phrase : CODE Νικάω Λαόν which is pronounced as Nikao Laon and in english means "i beat/win/rule a nation", nikao means i win and laon means nation. So Nikolaos is the one that can Rule a Nation ... ![]() -------------------- ![]() |

My name is Michael.
Here in Greece, in everyday use, is Mihalis which comes from Mihail, my christian name. (or Michail in latin spelling to understand it) It's a biblical name, from the hebrew name Miyka'el which meant "who, is like God". If we look in the hebrew tradition this is the name of one of the 7 archangels and the only one identified as an archangel in the Bible. In the Book of Revelation in the New Testament he is portrayed as the leader of heaven's armies. So don't worry about anything, you have a guardian angel -on site- to protect you. ![]() -------------------- |
